MUSIC MATTERS
Music matters is a music school that offers an inspiring, creative, fun performance-driven, approach to music education for all ages. But it is also a a collective of musicians committed to developing a platform for music beyond the mainstream in Sri Lanka, as well as a studio that offers a rehearsal space for your next band rehearsal.

PAULINE DRAND

Both unclassifiable and accessible, Pauline Drand's art is driven by a timeless voice and a sharp poetic instinct. Since the release of her first EP in 2015, the Parisian singer-songwriter has been performing both as a soloist (voice, guitar, piano) and as a collective in various constellations, in France and internationally. In conjunction with the release of her first studio album titled "Faits bleus" in 2018, she performs notably as an opening act for Benjamin Biolay, Bertrand Belin, Juliette Armanet, Clara Luciani, Aldous Harding, and performs at the Théâtre de la Ville, Kenilworth Arts Festival, La Maroquinerie, Maison de la Poésie, Divan du Monde, Carreau du Temple, and Point Éphémère. Finalist of the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges in 2018 and of La Relève on France Inter in 2015, resident of the Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris in 2021, she is currently working on her next album, whose creation is nourished by the encounter with other forms of artistic expression, such as dance and visual arts.
