CLYDE CHABOT
Born in 1966, Clyde Chabot graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and obtained a PhD from the Institut d'Etudes Théâtrales de Paris 3 on The theatre of extreme contemporary in society. She has written a dozen of plays including SICILIA & TUNISIA published by Les Cygnes. She received a writer’s grant from the Ile de France region for her texts Fille de militaire and CHICAGO-reconstitution. She is also a director and performer with La Communauté inavouable, which is 30 years old in 2022 and develops its projects in France and internationally. She creates texts on memory, identity, origins, singularities, filiation, friendship… She probes into herself parts of intimacy connected to the universal. She often suggests to the spectators a position of accomplices, witnesses, guests or actors.
